District Logistics Manager - St. Paul, MN.

Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all branch locations in the following region: Hibbing, Superior, and Wausau. Responsible for ensuring excellence in customer service, shipping/receiving, production, rental, and repair activities. Provides leadership, coaching, and support to Store Managers to drive operational efficiency, employee development, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support daily operations across all locations, including customer service, shipping/receiving, production, rental, and repair activities
  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience for both internal and external customers
  • Evaluate branch performance and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Store Managers
  • Assist Store Managers with hiring, training, employee development, scheduling, and performance reviews
  • Conduct monthly visits to all locations to assess operational efficiency, employee performance, facility conditions, and adherence to company standards
  • Review operational reporting, including open orders, cycle counts, transfers, work orders, and repairs, and communicate findings with branch leadership
  • Develop and implement improvements to operational systems, training programs, policies, and procedures
  • Partner with Sales Managers to ensure operational support aligns with customer and business needs
  • Conduct training sessions, meetings, and ongoing communication with Store Managers and employees to support performance and accountability
  • Ensure completion of required training, inspections, reviews, hiring processes, and compliance with company policies, safety standards, Vision, Purpose, and Core Values

Qualifications

  • Forklift Certification
  • Experience conducting employee interviews, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Ability to review, interpret, and communicate operational reports and documentation
  • Strong professional communication skills with employees, managers, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of and commitment to company policies, procedures, safety requirements, Vision, Purpose, and Core Values
